Sumburgh Airport is situated on the South tip of Shetland approximately 25 miles south of Lerwick & a regular bus service takes passengers to Lerwick in around 40 minutes.

By Sea
Northlink Ferries operate an overnight ferry service from Aberdeen to Lerwick docking daily at the Holmsgarth Ferry Terminal in Lerwick (which is only a short 15 minute walk from the town centre).
Recliner seats, sleeping pods, and 2 or 4 berth cabins are all available on board the MV Hjaltland and MV Hrossey.
