The area surrounding Brae is diverse with many unspoilt natural attractions, wonderful wildlife & places of interest.
Stunning views and dramatic coastal walks abound in nearby areas such as North Mavine, Muckle Roe, Eshaness and Ronas Hill to name but a few.

The property is also perfectly positioned for easy access to Shetland’s most northerly isles – Yell & Unst – again, rich in wildlife, birdlife and other places of interest.

DIRECTIONS to Waters Edge, 4 Vistavird, Brae, Shetland ZE2 9SL

From Northlink Ferry Terminal, Lerwick (25 mins)

  • Turn right onto the A970 north for 23 miles
  • When entering Brae continue towards the Brae Garage and Brae Hotel then take the left turning into Vistavird (just before Frankies Fish & Chip Shop)
  • Follow the road down into the cul-de-sac and turn right at the bottom where you will find the parking area and entrance to “Waters Edge”

 

From Sumburgh Airport (50 mins)

  • Turn right onto the A970 north for 22 miles
  • Turn left onto the B9073 just before Lerwick
  • Turn right onto the A970 for 1 mile
  • Turn left (North) at the T junction onto the A970 for 20 miles
  • When entering Brae continue towards the Brae Garage and Hotel then take the left turning into Vistavird (just before Frankies Fish & Chip shop)
  • Follow the road down into the cul-de-sac and turn right at the bottom where you will find the parking area and entrance to “Waters Edge”.
